Incredible work! Looks just like what I get PAID to do. You should really stt paid commisions if you haven't already. Beautiful technique on the fur but the nose seems a little big and kind of stands out. I love the background and faded trees, especially the faint ligting. Lovely work. The slight glow in the eyes ties it all together. The only things that need work are the whiskers could be a little thinner or left out altogether if necessary and it looks almost like you blurred the ears too much. The rims and inner fur are indestinguishable which in total is like a 10 seond fix XD I love it, very beautiful work!
This is an absolutely stunning piece, first off I want to say that I love the attention to detail and all the hard work you put into this that is very obvious. For critiquing, all I might suggest would be maybe have a bit more contrast to show more depth to the fur and eyes and perhaps make the background a little more blurred next time to show that he's closer to the viewer than the ground is. The fur on the ends might be a little too thick as well unless you wanted this particular wolf have have thicker fur. Other than that it's perfect and the anatomy is stunning.
This is an amazing piece and I can't wait to see more from you!
I've seen the digitally mastered form of this picture before. the original, which I have, was created by someone else in a regular digital studio. the original picture was also made to look very realistic, much like the wolves in twilight...please prove me wrong...but I'm sure I have the original for this picture or possibly the ref.
This work is amazing! I love how the light coming from behind the trees is so warm compared to the forest and it's trees, and how much darker it looks in the deeper parts of the forest where the cottage is. The wolfs eyes and it stare at the viewer is very captivating! The wolf doesn't look evil or threatening though, the way its fur is so warm colored just like the sun light behind him and his expression is so calm.. makes me wonder what he is doing near that little cottage..the wolf might even be more than just a wolf Also the way you made the fur is very different what I have seen, I love how you gave it such a smooth look, that and his colors remind me of autumn for some reason, perfect fit with the background ^-^
I love how your wolf stands out from the background. Light seems to bounce of his fur while his eyes have a very real and piercing stare to them. The colors seem to suit the wolf. Damn good piece of work. Keep it up :-D
This is so beautiful! It looks like you have paid such attention to every detail, and it has certainly payed off! The color and everything just helps add to the piece, every element works together. It's an eye-catcher. You did wonderfully! Keep it up! (:
i really like the fur, intensity in the wolfs eyes and how they light in the center has warmth to it while the lighting and color off to the side has a coldness to it. and i really like how the trees came out. it looks great
I'm not all that good at being critical, but i love it honestly! You did well with coloring and fur as well as anatomy I love his eyes, and the small house in the background is really cool i love it!!!
